John Deere Spreading In Russia
John Deere engines are specified for use in wide varied projects around the world and this latest application is no exception. Barrus has supplied six John Deere engines(John Deere 6068TF150 , 127kW , 170hp) to Tramspread, a smallagriculural equipment supplier based in Mendlesham, Suffolk specialises in the supply of slurry handling equipment. The slurry spreader is an umbilical machine that pumps the slurry out through a drag hose. Terry Baker, managing director of Tramspread comment, " Our customer who is based in Russia already uses John Deere powered equipment so he was aware of the tough, rugged reliability of the John Deere engines. Another important factor was the convenience of a local John Deere service agent." The slurry spreader has recently been shown at an agricultural exhibition in Moscow where Tramspread received considerable interest.
